Christmas

I was on-call Christmas Eve and ended up getting called into work, so the kids didn't get to open any presents on Christmas Eve.  I was also on-call Christmas day, but never got called in.  The boys woke up around 7:00 and were excited to rip into presents.   Connor going threw his stocking.  Of course he was super excited to find 100 Pokemon cards stashed in his stocking.  He stopped everything and looked at each and every card before moving onto another gift.  Connor was really excited to give us the gifts he picked out by himself from the Santa Express.  He got Kaiden a stuffed dinosaur, Jason a Sea Hawk magnet, me a Mother's plate for the wall, Grandma some cocoa flavored chap stick, Grandpa a #1 Grandpa key chain, and his teacher a 3D Bird picture.  Great job Connor!  We love how much thought you put into each and every gift.   Kaiden loves this car!  It has 3 buttons- lights, sounds, shakes, moves...  Connor was excited to get his Magic Kit for Wizards Only... and more crystal kits.  He loves his science projects and beautiful crystals/gems.   Jason got some new tools he wanted and some running gear.  Kaiden stomping around on his music mat.   My gift from my 3 boys... a beautiful Mother's ring.  I love it!  It's absolutely perfect!  Sledding then Connor was excited to get started on his "Magic Kit for Wizards Only."  We had a very relaxing and fun Christmas as a family.

December

My little man bundled up to enjoy the snow.   Chippy came to visit us from the North Pole again this year.  He always comes right after Thanksgiving and stayed until a week or two into January.  Connor wakes up excited to race down the stairs and search for Chippy's new hiding spot every day.  Chippy has been more creative this year too.  Above he was fishing for golf fish crackers with his pole and life preserver.   The boys having a Nerf contest.  Below is Jason wrapping floss around Connor's loose tooth.  His tooth was loose for months.  Literally months!  Connor refused to pull it out and babied it.  It got to the point that the tooth was dead, discolored and his breath stunk even after he brushed.  So, we told him it HAD to go!  He agreed to let Jason tie floss around the tooth and then Connor was suppose to pull the floss.  He chickened out at the last minute though and made Jason pull the floss.  It only took one little tug and the tooth was out.  Connor was happy... the tooth fairy left him over $15!!  (guess that's what happens when mom gets home from work at midnight... oops)  Of course he used the money to buy him more Pokemon cards.  We went to Santa Express again and Connor picked out gifts for everyone.  We also attempted to get pictures with Santa twice, but the line was ridiculous.
