Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Water Front Park Easter Egg Hunt!

This year Connor found one of the golden eggs, which you get to turn in for a prize.  He chose a plush puppy with pink bunny ears.

Well, Hello there Easter Bunny!
After the Easter Egg Hunt Connor and Jason went home for a nap and I went shopping to find goodies for Connor's Easter basket.
The next morning he came racing down stairs to see what the Easter Bunny left for him.  A magic trick kit, light up yo-yo, glow in the dark snake, football, magnifying glass for bugs, spider-man balloon, spider-man cup, money, candy... wow, all sorts of fun stuff Connor loves!  Mom Easter Bunny did a good job!
Connor loves his spiders.  Every time he finds a new spider (inside or outside) he puts it inside his bug cage.  We now have 3 big spiders living in our house.

Connor and Ryan.  My parents were spending the night at my brothers house to watch the kids while they worked.  We stopped by to say hello and take my parents out to Easter dinner.

green eggs and worms

dying Easter Eggs

our fun Easter Eggs... many of which have pictures of none other than Connor's favorite creature... SPIDERS!

On the way home from school we stopped and bought some big juicy worms for Connor's worm farm.  The worms Jason and Connor found in the backyard were pretty small.  Connor was excited to add the big worms, but wouldn't touch them without his gardening gloves on.

worm farm

Having a little boy means you always have some kind of creature living inside your home in a container.  Connor loves snakes and since I'm not ready to let a snake live in our home yet... he decided a worm farm would be the next best thing.  So, we built one.

Chief's Hockey

Connor's First Hockey Game!  We got tickets to the hockey game through Jason's new job and got to sit in their suite.  We were joined by Jason's friend Scott and his family.  Connor had fun playing with their youngest, Brooklyn.  I had to do a second take when I saw one of the Chief's players name on the reader board... Connor Chartier, #27.

We ordered bottomless popcorn.  Connor dumped out the last few kernels and came back to scoop some more popcorn and Jason gave him the "What are you doing" look.

Connor's new habit.  Apparently when Jason was a kid he used to have to pick the lint out of his toes every night... well, Connor has picked this habit up as well.
