2nd hair cut
Wooo Hooo! My boys new short hair cut. Jason's cut his own hair since high school. So, we figured he could give cutting Connor's hair a try. I think he did a fantastic job! Connor did excellent too. He sat still and didn't mind the clippers at all. Took me a while to talk daddy into cutting his hair short, but I'm so glad we did. I love it!

September update
Connor's little ball pit. This turtle has been a swim pool, ball pit and next summer it will be his sand box. So many uses for a turtle!fun with j-e-l-l-o!
mmm spaghetti
What a little monkey! Scaling the front of the couch
Dad was ready to catch him if he fell, but he climbed all the way up on his own.
We re-did part of our dog kennel recently. Here it is almost completely done now. Jason put a cement walkway for them (which they both use and love), stepping stones to the gate made by Grandpa K and rock boarders. Plus they already had their in-ground swim pool at the end of the kennel. We still have a few dead patches of grass, but overall I think these doggies are pretty darn spoiled!
Jason did a great job re-doing our flower beds! We had bark in the flower beds and decided to change it over to rock. So, Jason put down some weed fabric and rock. I lost track of how many truck fulls of rock he had to bring in. Lots of work, but it looks great honey!

Sunday fun!
Sunday morning fun... wooo hooo playing with Connor's new play hut! Jason's been wanting to get him a play hut for months now and we finally found the perfect one.Dad crawling through the play tunnel =)

Mom about to get tackled by Connor in the fort
Connor's really good at walking now, but he hates shoes! But I found some new soft bottom shoes that he seems to like better than his other shoes. Well, maybe anyway... he's checking them out, but so far he's not ripping them off! =)
taking a Sunday walk on the Quail Meadow trail. The Quail Meadow Trail is a nice link from the Fox Hollow housing area (which is only blocks from our house) and the lake trail. It wraps around Shepard Field, which is our soccer field. The Medical Lake Trail system is around 4 miles worth of paved trails. Our most popular is the lake trail which encircles Medical Lake. This trail is in a beautiful setting and being only 3 miles in length it is a great place for a walk, ride or run. We only saw 1 deer and some frogs on this walk.
visiting Max! (and our neighbors- Vicki and Jon, and Max's parents- Travis and Wei Wei) Max is 3 months older than Connor. He's such a cutie! I had a really hard time trying to get a picture of Max and Connor together though... their both walking all over the place now and it's hard to get them to hold still for a picture. Their almost the same height too!

Busy Saturday
We had a busy Saturday! Family pictures, shopping at Lowes, trip to PetSmart, goodies at Toys R' Us, dinner at Red Lobster with Staci and Tony, and then home to put Connor's new play tent together.Connor keeping his eye on the little girl sitting behind us.
my boys putting together the new play tent. It was Connor's bedtime so he didn't get to play with it yet... tomorrow!

Friday evening
What a perfect evening! I made some yummy chicken enchiladas, we took Connor and the dogs for a nice walk around the neighborhood, and then all the kids in the neighborhood (okay just our street) came over to play with Connor. He was the center of attention and he loved it. Their such good kids and they adore Connor. The dogs loved the extra attention too. =)
