Kaiden- Jack Skellington (from the Nightmare before Christmas).
Connor- Bumble Bee Transformer
Connor was dying to go trick-or-treating. At 5:00 we finally had our first trick-or-treater knock on our door. We dished out some candy and then ran out the door. It was chilly and threatening to rain, so we wanted to make our rounds early. We just walked around the block, which was enough for Kaiden since his little hands were getting cold. I had several layers of clothing on him, which kept him warm and toasty except his fingers. We came back home and Connor answered the door and handed out candy for a while. Once we started getting groups of kids Jason and Connor decided to head out for some more. Kaiden and I stayed home to man the door. I heard from the boys when they got back that one of our neighbors really went all out... they had several people set up in their yard in costumes with fake chain saws and tons of decorations. They're like us and don't scare the little kids, but do scare the bigger kids. Connor thought it was awesome.
Ilona and Waylon
Connor was in charge of pulling the scarecrows arms (for the big kids only). While Jason would roar or say something into the walkie talkie that was hid in the scarecrows pocket. They made a great team. I'm not sure who had more fun Jason and Connor or the trick-or-treaters.
I don't know who these kids were, but they put on a cute show! They had a little act... which made us all smile and laugh.. and earned them some extra hand fulls of candy.
Connor was in charge of handing out candy to the kids. This has always been his favorite part of Halloween. He opened the door and saw our neighbor Peyton standing there and jumped into her arms. He loves Peyton (and her older sister, Jordyn).
