Tree and Chippy

Connor finally got to put up the Christmas tree.  He's been asking because he knows as soon as the tree is up Chippy (our elf) comes.  The boys love waking up to find Chippy each morning.  The boys decorated the tree this year.  We mainly put up homemade ornaments and unbreakable bulbs (for Piper).

They finally decided to put their teeth in the pillow for the tooth fairy.  Connor kept forgetting to put his tooth he lost several weeks ago in the pillow.  Kaiden had refused to let the tooth fairy have his tooth.  But they both decided to leave their teeth together in the pillow.  She gave Kaiden 2 gold coins ($1 each), a bunch of $1 bills and change.  Connor got 1 gold coin and a $5 bill.  In the end Kaiden got $7 + change.  Connor got $6.  They were both happy.  Connor said the tooth fairy always gives you more money for your first tooth.  

 

Thanksgiving

This year we went to my parents house for Thanksgiving.  Connor drawing pictures.  Grandma trying to figure out how to fit all the dishes on the table.  Grandma made an awesome dinner! We brought the foam clay and played after dinner.  Grandpa made Kaiden a reindeer red nose.  Jason and Grandpa relaxed after dinner.  And we all enjoyed my cheesecake for desert.  We had a very relaxing and fun Thanksgiving!

crafts

Kaiden and I had a craft day making ornaments for our tree.  Kaiden made a swirl design heart and I made our yearly family ornament.  I bought some new weird clay.  It feels more like a foam.  There is no baking involved.  It just air dries.  Once it's dry it's super light weight and almost a little spongy like foam still, but it keeps its shape.  The boys and I had fun making ornaments.

dentist

Kids 6 month dental cleanings...  Afterwards we tried to take Piper back to the dog park, so Connor could check it out too, but it was closed.  They are adding equipment and it's closed for a week.  So, we played at the other play ground then grabbed some hot cocoa instead and did a little shopping.  Both boys needed some new winter shirts and Kaiden needed some new snow pants. Then we took Piper home to give her a bath.

Snowlander

We went to the Snowlander again this year to check out the new ski equipment.  Plus we get 2 lift tickets with our emission!  Kaiden got to pose with Big Foot.  Connor refused.  Then Connor played in a huge blow up snow globe.  Kaiden refused- he said it was too windy getting in.
