Raptor Reef

Since it was too chilly to play outside... we went to Triple Play in Coeur d'alene to play in the Raptor Reef indoor water park.

We had such a blast!  They have double tubes to ride down the slides.  Connor took turns going down the slides with Jason and then with me.

Kaiden didn't spend much time in the water.. and he didn't get much wetter than this picture.  The water was heated, but not as warm as bath water.  It was colder than Kaiden wanted and after about 10 minutes in the water he would cry to get out.  Jason and I took turns sitting in the lounge chairs with him, while the other went down slides with Connor.

My little man who was happy to curl up in his robe and watch the fun from the warm comfort of mom's lap

After swimming Connor played some games

Soccer

Grandma and Grandpa spent the night so they could see Connor's soccer game bright and early the next morning.

The next morning it was a little chilly for Connor's soccer game.  Kaiden didn't mind though.. he was snuggled into his car seat all toasty warm.
Grandma and Grandpa watching Connor races around the field chasing the ball.  Connor likes soccer and he's really good at keeping up with the ball and kicking it towards the goal.  Practice is 1 hour on Tuesday and Thursday with 1 hour games every Saturday.  Soccer seems to hold his interest better than the other sports we've tried.  I think that's partly because it's only 1 hour and partly because he's active the entire time he's on the field (unlike baseball where he got board standing in the outfield waiting for a ball to come his way or waiting in line for batting).  When we signed up to play soccer they asked if Jason wanted to be the coach.  Unfortunately, he had to travel and was gone for the first week of practice.... so he volunteered to be the assistant coach instead. The coach is Hillary Wagner, who is a school teacher and also an assistant band teacher.  She had to miss this soccer game because the band was playing in a competition, so Jason coached this game.

He can roll from his stomach to back and back to stomach now. First time rolling from back to stomach was today.  He's pretty proud of his new accomplishment.

Valley Fest

First stop... the planetarium.  Connor and Jason went inside and watched the show.  Kaiden wasn't allowed inside, so we waited outside.

The car show...  This caught our eye- the "Sherette's"
Connor always loves the gymnastic course
Of course my girl crazy boy has to have his picture taken with the princesses
Connor found this cool frog hat/scarf/gloves at one of the booths.
Connor with another princess.  This is actually my friend Destiny from WSU nursing school.  She just started her own company on the side "A dream is a wish you make, princess parties"
Lego time at the robotics center
They had a booth this year giving out goofy pictures.. Connor picked the Pirate scene.  Jason and Kaiden both had green shirts on, which made our picture extra goofy.
