Medical Lake trail

A relaxing Sunday afternoon walk around Medical Lake. We have a 3 mile paved walking trail around the lake. It's gorgeous! There's always tons of wildlife to see. On this walk we saw 3 deer, a million squirrels and all sorts of beautiful birds. The trail goes right by Waterfront park too, which is always a popular place. They have a nice beach with a roped off swim area, picnic spots, volleyball net, horse shoe pits, play ground, and 2 baseball fields. The Cheney high school was having their Beach Bash at the park and there was a live band playing. So, not only did we get to enjoy a wonderful walk around the lake, but we also got to listen to some good music!

Our neighbor, Vicki was taking her grandson, Max for a walk the same time we were leaving for our walk last night so we got to enjoy their company.We spotted 4 big bucks in the field just on the other side of the road into our development.

Finch Arboretum
