soccer

Kaiden can finally reach the petal to drive on his own!  barely... he has to sit on the very edge of the seat and stretch with his toes, but he can do it.  He's very proud of himself too.  He loves this little truck!  Since he's stretching so far it's hard for him to really steer, so we turn the wheel so the truck drives in a big circle.

I used a sheet and the patio cushions to make a little fort for the boys.  They had a good time playing.

I love these little cuties in their matching PJ's

ATV riding

After Connor's soccer game we loaded the ATV's up, got a sitter for Kaiden and went riding at the ORV park.  We let Kaiden ride around the back yard on the ATV's with us and he loves it, but he's too small to be riding at the ORV park.  He would totally love it though!  When we got back from riding I took Connor to the movies.  He got to pick which movie we saw- He chose the Angry Birds movie.

My little rock star putting on a performance for us.  He really gets into it when he sings into his microphone.

Connor's 1st grade school music program

Connor's class was the bee's and the other two first grade classes were the bears.  It worked out great since last year his kindergarten class did "On the Farm" and the kids got to pick any farm animal costume to wear.  They had just finished learning about honey bee's and he wanted to be a bee for his costume.  Since I couldn't find any boys bee costumes I bought a yellow shirt and black fabric paint and made him a bee shirt.  I found some yellow/black striped knee high socks and bee antennas.  He loved his costume.  Good thing I didn't toss it out... he got to wear it for this program too!  Since I had the day off from work I went to his 1:30 performance for the school (with Kaiden) and then again that night for the 6:30 parents performance.   Connor did great remembering his lines.
