Nurse Krista
I'm officially Krista RN, BSN! I took my NCLEX (National Council of State Boards of Nursing) on Monday 1-26-15. The test is 75-265 questions, up to 6 hours. It's a computerized adaptive testing format, so every question you get correct gives you a harder question. At least a third of my questions were select all that apply, which is the hardest level of questioning. There is no partial credit given. After 75 questions (2 hours) my test shut off... which scared me to death! I knew that either meant I did really good or really bad. I stressed out for the next 5 hours until my license changed to active status, which meant I passed the test. Jason left the following day for Boise for the week. To let my daycare know how much I appreciate them being flexible and supporting me during the last 5 years of schooling I bought everyone their favorite espresso's and delivered them. So happy to be done with school!!!

Bath time fun
Kaiden having fun in his duck bath tub. Connor took a bath after Kaiden and decided to use Kaiden's duck tub as a boat. He's such a goofy kid. He keeps us laughing. He was making some hilarious sound effects and faces too. Jason was in Alaska this week for work. On 1-14-15 Kaiden finally figured out how to army crawl forward. There is no stopping him now! On 1-20-15 he figured out how to crawl forward on his knees.

target practice
We lined up some of Connor's Hero Factory characters and used his Nerf guns for some target practice one evening. Connor is an amazing shot! Connor and I made some chocolate snow ice cream! I can't believe how
good it actually tastes. Connor and I are looking forward to the next
time it snows now... so we can sit a mixing bowl outside and collect
some fresh snow for some more snow ice cream. Jason even liked our ice
cream, which is saying a lot since he's picky.

New Years Day
We celebrated Christmas with my family on New Years Day. Connor was so excited to give Grandma and Grandpa the gifts he picked out from Santa Express. He took special care to select the perfect gift for each person. He picked out a ring for Grandma, which is very fitting since Grandma loves jewelry! He chose a very useful and handy flash light for Grandpa. An extremely bright light for Grandpa! Connor said he chose that gift since he knows that Grandpa gets up to use the bathroom during the night and he wanted him to be able to see good in the dark. Grandpa loves the light! It also has a handy hook to hang it by and multiple light settings. Grandpa actually uses the light quiet a bit at home and in his shop. Nice job Connor!! Christmas dinner.. this year I went non-traditional and served lasagna.
