Lucky Day

Connor finally lost his front tooth!  We were driving to the north side YMCA to go swimming in the lazy river.  Connor was munching on some popcorn in the back seat when he called out "My tooth just fell out!"

The tooth fairy must have been sleepy when she exchanged his tooth for money because she filled his tooth pillow full of cash... turns out she paid him $16 for that front tooth!

Rim Race

Connor's front tooth has been loose for quiet some time now, but he refused to pull it out and the tooth just keeps hanging in there... it's really wiggly now though!  He let me wiggle it and I twisted it every which way and bent it all the way back and forth, but it would not come out.  It's so loose that it hangs down lower than his other teeth now.

A day in the life of Kaiden

Kaiden destroying his peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch

He loves to play with his basketball.. he practices bouncing a ball forever.

He also loves his books!  He will drag out a pile of books, surround himself and flip through the pages of each book... jabbering away and pointing at the pictures as he goes.
He also loves to play with his cars/trucks.

For nap time he has to have both his bunnies to snuggle with and his pacifier.

I'm awake mom... come get me and my bunnies!
back to reading more books.  His favorite book is Winnie the Pooh.

He gets so excited when big brother gets home from school, so the two of them can play together.  When it's time to go meet Connor's bus, Kaiden will get his shoes from the laundry room and bring them out to me and then wait by the door.  Yeah Connor is home!  Truck races!

SpokeFest

All 4 of us did the 9 mile SpokeFest bike ride this year. Jason pulled Kaiden in the bike cart.  Connor rode his tag-along bike hooked to mine.  Afterwards we had lunch at O'Doherty's Irish Pub and Grill. If you stand on the bar and sing you earn the right to sign a dollar bill and staple it to the wall/ceiling somewhere.  Connor accepted the challenge and sung a song he made up.  Great job buddy!  Everyone applauded.  We all signed our names to a bill and he stapled it to the ceiling.  We had to check out Boo Radley's too, which is a goofy store with some strange and fun toys.  Connor chose a grabber toy with a candy sucker on one end.  Kaiden got a mustache pacifier.

4-wheeler ride

Some families watch TV to relax after bath time in the evenings... my family rips it up on the 4-wheelers.  Usually we rip roar around the back yard for a few laps, but tonight Jason and Connor decided to race down our street instead.  Connor loves his 4-wheeler!  He's getting pretty daring on it too.  He loves to go super fast and even jumps it off our patio in the backyard.

Kaiden loves to ride too... we go super slow with him on though.

Connor taking a ride with Jason on the fast 4-wheeler.  Connor's 4-wheeler is built for kids, so it doesn't go real fast.  This one on the other hand does go fast.  He only gets to ride on this 4-wheeler with an adult.

Tennis

Kaiden is finally big enough for his big boy car seat.  We kept him in the backward facing infant car seat as long as we could, but the weight limit is 22 pounds and he's 21 pounds and growing.  He loves to sit forward facing in the big boy seat though next to his awesome big brother.
We took the boys to play tennis.  Plus it gave us a chance to try out Kaiden's new seat.

Let's play some Tennis!  Kaiden had fun being our ball boy and retrieving the tennis balls.

Our ball boy two fisting it.

Connor getting some Tennis practice in.  Great job!
