Lunch

We took Grandma and Grandpa out to lunch at the Chewelah Golf course.

We love to take our boat out on Silver Lake in the summer.. fishing, swimming, tubing, relaxing!  Kaiden caught his first fish.  He was excited to catch it, but not to touch it. Jason got in some practice swimming too.  Connor played with his remote control boat. 

 Above is the wood sign my dad made for us to put outside our front door.  I was still working on painting it in the picture.  Below is a fun park in CDA.  Me and the boys went to the park to play while Jason did his run, bike, swim with friends.  Last picture is of Connor driving the boat.  Jason taught him how to drive the boat in case there was ever an accident and Jason fell off the boat when he's on the lake with the boys alone.  That way Connor would know how to slowly drive and steer the boat over to pick Jason up again.  We've never had any accidents on the boat, but it's good to be prepared.  The boys always wear life vests from the minute we get out of the car at the lake to the minute we get back into the car again.  Jason did a great job preparing our boat with all kinds of safety equipment too.

Kaiden riding his bike

Kaiden has mastered riding his balance bike.  He's so fast and he can glide forever.  Ability wise he's ready for a real bike with petals... height wise he's still too short to reach the petals.  Maybe by next summer he'll be tall enough to get a real bike.  Watch out neighborhood kids... he's already racing them without petals, once he gets a real bike he'll be passing everyone up!

We love our neighborhood kids! I sat out some healthy snacks for the kids.

These kids love dirt and bugs!  Any time you dig in the dirt the boys radar goes off... and within minutes they are poking around for bugs. Collin and Connor = best buds.  Just about every morning after breakfast we get a knock on the door from Collin asking if Connor is ready to come outside and play.

I blew up a bunch of water balloon for the kids to have a water balloon fight to cool off.
