We're ready for spring.. and camping! I bought Piper a new collapsible kennel for our road trip this summer. Kaiden and Piper approve of her new digs. Kaiden is eager to get back on his bike... snow or no slow. Nothing slows this kid down.

Grandma's birthday
Jason's mom had a 90th birthday party. I received a jury summons for the week before and week after her party. I tried to reschedule my jury duty and even had my boss send them a letter to reschedule, but they were not willing to budge. We finally bought Jason and the boys plane tickets to go over for the weekend. My nurse manager filled out a form to delay my jury duty, which they finally approved... 2 days before the party. Unfortunately I couldn't get a flight, so I had to miss the party. But the boys all had fun and Grandma had a blast.

TeJon's birthday party
I took the boys to Connor's friend, TeJon's laser quest birthday party, while Jason worked on the RV at home.

skiing
Kaiden's FIRST time skiing! We went to Silver mountain. We love that mountain! Great ski runs. Super easy to get to. It's right off the freeway. You park at the base and ride a gondola up to the top of the mountain. They have a huge lodge with tons of food options. They have a huge indoor water park at the bottom, right next to Silver village with shops, restaurants, pubs, lodging... Kaiden was so excited to finally get to ski. We had to rent Kaiden the smallest boots and ski's they had. He looked adorable. The 4 of us skied the beginner hill all day. Jason and Connor did go down 1 run together. We started off the day with Kaiden snow plowing between either Jason or my legs. We took turns and by the end of the day our knees hurt so bad from snow plowing all day long. After lunch we decided to let Kaiden try to ski completely on his own. I am amazed at just how great of a job he did! He was incredible! We showed him how to snow plow, but we hadn't taught him how to turn or zig zag down the hill and he figured it out on his own. We were hoping to get him some lessons, but Silver doesn't start lessons until age 5. At the rate he's going he may not need lessons though! He's a natural. Connor is such a good skier too. He must have dipped down the hill a couple dozen times! He's so fast I couldn't even get a picture of him skiing by. After a full day of skiing we stopped at Texas Roadhouse for an amazing steak dinner.
