Kaiden is finally tall enough for the tag-along bike! No more bike trailer.
Rock painting. The school librarian and some other people around town have been painting pictures and inspirational messages on rocks and then hiding them around town for the kids to find. We have found a couple really cute ones. So, the boys decided to paint and hide their own rocks for people to find.
My finished paint job in the laundry room and behind the TV.
Our newest project... Jason and I bought a beautiful bedroom set 19 years ago, but the headboard/foot board was for our queen size bed, which we gave to Connor when Kaiden was born. Since then we still have the 2 dressers and 2 night stands, but no headboard for our king size bed. We've been looking but can't find one we both like. So, we're making one! We found this really interesting wood (ghost wood) that we both love. Jason pretty much cut and put the headboard together and then I used Kona wood stain to touch up areas, stain the legs and then put a coat of polyurethane over the top.
Easter basket this year. I had bought some things for the boys before this quarantine started, so I put that in a basket and bought Connor a lego set off Amazon and we called it good. The boys were happy, which is great since all the stores are closed right now. Jason hid a bunch of plastic eggs in the backyard for them to find. Jason helped Kaiden build the little car I had bought for him.

Jason has complained about the flower pattern on our RV couch and the bench seats since we bought the RV. The cushions are in excellent shape, but he hates flower pattern. So, we bought a velvet couch cover and cut out the inner section, so we can leave the cover on the couch and still pull out the hide-a-bed for the boys each night. I then sewed a trim piece around the cut edge to protect it from ripping. I think the flower pattern was fine and looked better myself. But Jason loves the cover and if it stops him from complaining every time we take the RV out then I'm all for it. I'm way easier going than he is when it comes to stuff like this. His other big complaint about the RV is the dated/weathered look on the outside of the RV. Again it's cosmetic and it doesn't bother me, but he complains about it constantly... so that's another project of ours.

My little Kaiden not feeling good. We recently bought this little bench for the living room and it's become Kaiden's own personal bed/couch to watch TV on. He loves it since it's the perfect size to stretch out on.
Connor is going through a huge growth/maturity spurt. His hands are bigger than mine, his feet are bigger than mine (both in length and width). At the beginning of the school year we had the same size feet and could share shoes... he can't even get his foot into my shoes now. He's still 1-2 inches shorter than I am. His voice is starting to change now too. He's growing some dark peach fuzz on his upper lip and his arm pits are getting hairy. My little boy is turning into a man!
Connor is right, I am left. Bottom picture is Kaiden and my feet.
Connor lost a tooth with a bracket
I started a new game for Piper. She gets so board. I show her a dog treat, trap her in the laundry room and then hide the treat somewhere in the house. Then I let her out and she has to sniff it out. She loves the game. She's really good at it too. You can see her following a scent trail.
Lower picture is Kaiden doing a zoom meeting with his teacher/class. We use the computer in Connor's room most of the time for his meetings. The kindergarten class meetings are hectic and chaotic.
