worm farm

Having a little boy means you always have some kind of creature living inside your home in a container.  Connor loves snakes and since I'm not ready to let a snake live in our home yet... he decided a worm farm would be the next best thing.  So, we built one.

Chief's Hockey

Connor's First Hockey Game!  We got tickets to the hockey game through Jason's new job and got to sit in their suite.  We were joined by Jason's friend Scott and his family.  Connor had fun playing with their youngest, Brooklyn.  I had to do a second take when I saw one of the Chief's players name on the reader board... Connor Chartier, #27.

We ordered bottomless popcorn.  Connor dumped out the last few kernels and came back to scoop some more popcorn and Jason gave him the "What are you doing" look.

Connor's new habit.  Apparently when Jason was a kid he used to have to pick the lint out of his toes every night... well, Connor has picked this habit up as well.

We met my brother and his family at the St. Patties Parade downtown and got to see his new puppy, Henry.

new bed

I went to a Nursing conference and brought home this splat ball, which Jason and Connor both love to play with.  It's the strangest thing. Splat Balls will "splat" when you throw them against a table, wall or window, but then they come right back into shape. Throw it against a window and listen to the "SPLAT!" as it flattens against the glass. But what's this? The Splat Ball reshapes itself back into a ball and begins moving down the glass like a spider on a wall.

We bought a full size mattress and converted Connor's bed into a big boy bed!  He picked out a set of Spider-man and dinosaur sheets.  I spent the first night with him in his new cozy bed.  Now there is room for all his stuffed animals!

We visited Nana and Grandpa.  Connor had to show Grandpa some of his spider books from the library.
St. Patties Flying Irish run
Connor and I usually walk a different route for Flying Irish, rather than trying to keep up with 400 sweaty runners and dragging our jogging stroller up and down stairs.  We take our own lovely stroll and then meet the sweaty runners back at the Ripples hotel conference room afterwards.
