Game night

 Connor looking like an old man sipping his tea. Jason spent the week in Illinois for work. The boys and I had a our own little game night. Then Saturday night we had our real game night with the Morris's. I made some raspberry brie puffed pastry bites that were so good. We opened some new games that I bought and played Poetry for Neanderthals, Throw Throw Burrito (which was our favorite) and Uno attack (another all time favorite). We always break into our teams: me, Jason and Raheem against Tim, Alex and Connor. Raheem spent the night (Landry and Isaiah were too tired so they went home). For breakfast I made the boys chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup, whip cream and sprinkles.

 So, for the first 2 weeks of cross country Connor was not a fan of the short running shorts. He would wear a pair of his shorts under the cross country shorts. It looked ridiculous and I'm sure it was harder to run in as well. We finally convinced him to stop wearing shorts under his shorts, but the team Cross Country picture happened in that first 2 weeks so... here he is with his shorts under shorts.

 I found a Mandalorian Halloween costume, which Kaiden loves and has been wearing everyday. Kaiden had another flag football game. The team did great. Connor, Raheem and Gage played around on the side lines. Connor ran his best time- 13:07 at his last cross country meet. Each meet is 1.5 miles long. I got a picture of Connor and his friend, Jackson before the race.

 Kaiden playing with Drako outside. Connor and I took Piper for a 6 mile walk around the lake. Smores for desert. Connor's Colville cross country meet. Grandma and Grandpa went with us. Connor was either coming down with a cold or had allergies to some of the trees in the area because he was sneezing and had a runny nose. He didn't do great at this race. Afterwards we went out to Chinese dinner. Jason and Kaiden had planned on missing flag football practice to go to this meet with us, but it was his team picture night so they couldn't miss it.

 

Cross Country

 Channing and I discovered there is a MOD pizza located by our downtown office. We went 2 days in a row. First day I tried their BBQ chicken pizza- OMG it's amazing! Alex gave me a short hair cut. Connor did great at his north Spokane cross country meet. His time for this race as 13:31!! Getting better and better each race.  I got a picture of Connor and Gage goofing around before the boys race.

Flag Football

 Kaiden's flag football game. Go Panthers! Connor, Gage and Raheem played video games during the game. They all have little 7-8 year old brother's on the team. Gage's little brother is Gunner, Raheem's is Landry and Isaiah. Jason got Kaiden a new 4-wheeler that is almost exactly the same as his old 4-wheeler, only a little nicer and way faster. Connor and Kaiden had a race down the block with the 2 4-wheelers. Kaiden was on the new one and Connor was on the old one. Every Saturday night is game night at our house with the Morris's. We trade off cooking dinner. This time I made homemade Cinnabon Cinnamon rolls for desert. Very good, but sweet. The boys all spent the night. Connor and Raheem claimed the basement, so for the first time ever Kaiden, Landry and Isaiah all slept in Kaiden's full size bed.  They actually all fit pretty good.
