Kaiden's play date with Landry

Kaiden had a play date at our house with his buddy Landry that lives on our block.  Connor plays with Landry's big brother, Raheem when he's there (he's at his mom's house most of the week).  The boys played cars, play doh, painted pictures, painted sun catchers, had lunch....  Top pictures are of our roof being replaced.  We built our house in 2006 with a 25 year roof and the wind storm 2 years ago did some damage, which the weather has continued to damage our shingles... time to replace.  Kaiden loves having his picture taken and likes to make funny faces.  He is such a goofy kid.  And LOUD!  I'm always telling Connor to speak up because he's so quiet and telling Kaiden to speak quieter since he's always so loud and he talks non-stop!  Connor is mellow and loves to play Lego's by himself, nice and quiet.  While Kaiden is loud and running circles around the house.  Total opposites!

Cub Scouts

Trail Blazers at Cowles Scout Reservation, off Diamond Lake. We had so much fun!  It was a full day of learning and fun.  Each section was about 30 minutes long and included games, biking, obstacle course, learning to rope an animal, fishing, how to start a fire, how to tie knots, how to shoot a bee bee gun, sling shot, bow and arrow, etc.  Lunch was sandwiches, cookies, chips and a milk.  It was a little chilly, but not bad.  We had a blast and Kaiden didn't even mind that he couldn't do half the events.  He was completely content and happy just watching his big brother do them.
