Gifford Camping

We love to try new camp sites.  We had fun playing on the beach, boating and exploring new areas... until we had engine trouble with our boat and got temporarily stranded.  The boys and I explored the beach that we got stranded on with Piper, while Jason did some trouble shooting and fixed our engine.  They say you marry your father and in some ways they are right.  Jason and my dad are 2 of the most creative and intelligent men I know.  I don't think there is anything those 2 men can't do!
Grandma and Grandpa joined us for the day.  Grandpa went fishing with the boys, while Grandma and I relaxed at the camp site and visited.  That evening the camp site had an informative star gazing event we attended.  We even got to see some planets! 

1st day of school

After school Connor had an orthodontist apt.

When Kaiden gets off the school bus he screams in his high pitch voice "MOM" and runs to me with open arms and jumps up to give me a bear hug.

Fishing

Kaiden has started baiting his own hook with lures and even takes his own fish off the hook too.  Connor was more into doing his "floss" dance than fishing today.  He even took a nap while Kaiden and dad fished.  Afterwards we stopped at Cabela's for some new fishing gear.

 

Silverwood

Another trip to Silverwood.  This time we spent most of our time playing in the water park and lazy river, cooling down with dipping dots ice cream and of course rides.
