Halloween

Our theme this year was going to be a Stick Family. We wear all black and each have a string of lights to make us look like a stick figure.  A few hours before we were going to get ready Kaiden said he had a headache and laid down on the couch. A headache for Kaiden usually means he's going to vomit a few times and then sleep non-stop for about 12 hours then wake up completely fine.  That mostly held true this time too. He vomited and then slept on the couch the entire Halloween evening. Poor little guy. He missed it all. The Morris family came over to celebrate with us too- Tim, Alex, Landry, Isaiah and Tristan. Raheem was at his mom's for Halloween. I made a bunch of snack foods. Connor dressed up as a stick man.  He was half orange and half blue/purple. I helped Landry also dress up as a stick man. Jason and I decided to skip dressing up, since Kaiden wasn't able to participate. Our neighbors across the street built a huge haunted house in their driveway with pallets/tarps. It must have been pretty popular because there was always a long line to get inside. We enjoyed visiting with the Morris's. Landry loved playing with our scarecrow on the front porch... Jason and the boys built it again this year with the arms hooked up to a pulley system through the window and a walkie talkie in the pocket. Connor had fun handing out candy with Isaiah and checking out all the costumes. Connor's friend, Josh stopped by with his parents- Tom and Marilyn too. Even Piper had a good time.

Family pictures

Chiefs Hockey game

After Kaiden's flag football game and the pizza party... we had some family pictures taken, then went to Idaho to check out some dirt bikes for the boys, then stopped at Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese for dinner. Connor and I both ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, which was incredible! Kaiden had the mac-n-cheese... and then ate some of my sandwich and some of Jason's Reuben sandwich. Afterwards we went to the Chief's hockey game at the Arena. Kaiden was totally into the game, cheering. Connor played on his phone most of the time. What a busy and fun day!!

Flag Football

Kaiden's last flag football game. After the game we had the kids and parents meet us at the Pizza Factory. We bought the kids all pizza and let them play video games to celebrate our fantastic season.

Pumpkin carving

I bought the boys each a pumpkin, but Connor decided he didn't want to carve a pumpkin this year. Kaiden wanted to carve the pumpkin himself freehand, without a stencil or help. After he was done carving he decided to decorate the other side with our plastic pieces. We had 'make your own pizza' for dinner. I bought all the pizza toppings and everyone loved the pizza they made!
