Universal Island of Adventure day 2

 12-26 Tuesday. We mostly spent time exploring the Suess and Harry Potter areas of this park. We went on the Amazing Spiderman ride, played in Camp Jurassic, went on the Suess Trolley train ride, the Caro-Seuss-el mary-go round, the cat in the hat ride, played in the Suess zoo play ground and watched the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular show. This park has a lot of water rides and roller coasters, which none of us had any interest in doing either of those.  It was chilly, windy and too cold for water rides and none of us like the roller coasters (except the mild children's coasters).

Universal Studio's day 1

 Our favorite area... Harry Potter! Both boys got wands. Kaiden has Harry's wand and Connor chose the Death Eater Skull wand. The wands are interactive and work in lots of spots in the Harry Potter area too. They make a feather float in a window display, squirt water from a fountain, drip water from an over head umbrella, open a box to reveal a large chocolate frog, etc. The boys had fun doing spells (twirling the wand in a specific figuration) to activate the items. We also had to get some Butter Beer to enjoy (its really cream soda).  We also went on the Escape from Gringotts ride.
