 Kaiden's first soccer game this year.  The Scorpions won!  Kaiden is #4

April

 We thatched, mowed and aerated the yard- our front yard, back yard and the next door neighbors front yard.  Jason did the thatching and aerating.  Connor and I mowed to pick up all the thatch.  Kaiden helped me bag the thatch.  We went to game night at our friend, Paul and Stephanie's house.  They also had a few neighbors over to play too.  Funny- I used to work with Bart on the Cardiac Transplant floor of the hospital. Kaiden did the Jr. Bloomsday race- 1 mile run at the community college.  Jason and I took Piper for a walk to our local grocery store and found Connor and Mason hanging out by the fire place there.  They have a nice deli area with a lounge.  The boys go there quiet a bit to hang out.  They looked like a couple of old men hanging so we got a picture of them pretending to read the paper.  They are so goofy together.  Later I walked Kaiden and Colton over to our neighborhood park and found Mason and Connor goofing off there.  Mason is good for Connor.  Connor is very responsible and sometimes he acts too much like a grown adult and not like a kid.  Mason is goofy and funny and he tends to bring the kid side out in Connor. 

April

 Connor and Mason spent the night at Britton's house.  Grandma and Grandpa are back from Arizona and we got to meet their new puppies- Benji and Harry.  Channing and Aedan came over to play games.

Pacific Lake Camping

Kaiden brought his best friend, Alex camping with us at Pacific Lake.  Connor's best friend, Mason was suppose to come too, but had to cancel.  Jason, Kaiden and Alex went up Sunday.  Connor and I met them there Monday.  Connor went to the movies with Mason Sunday night.  Then Connor and I came back Wednesday night and the boys came back Thursday.  We had several days of hiking- Kaiden and Alex hiked daily for hours and found a bunch of "treasures."  Piper loved going for all the hikes, but got very exhausted and actually started kinda limping.  But apparently she feels like she HAS to keep an eye on the younger boys because any time they went for a hike and got more than a 100 feet away she would chase after them and stay with them for the entire hike.... no matter how tired she was. We played in the hammock, had a camp fire with smores, the boys flew kites, darts, sling shot, BB guns, dug holes for bugs, played games, watched movies in bed with popcorn, and of course rode 4 wheelers.  Kaiden and Alex spent the majority of their days either hiking/exploring or riding the 4 wheelers.  We have 2 blue 125 4-wheelers for Kaiden, so it was perfect for each of them to ride.  The 5 of us actually went for a ride together too.  Connor rode his 350 4-wheeler and I rode with Jason on the 400 4-wheeler.  We did end up picking several ticks off Piper.  I put Front Line on her before we left and none of the ticks actually drew blood, but they still attached to her fur.  We all had a great time and enjoyed the nice weather.  It was actually pretty warm this year.  We go every Spring Break and this was probably the nicest I've seen it.  Not real windy or cold.
