Bloomsday

 Our entire family did  Bloomsday this year (along with 31,000 people). The race is actually 7.46 miles long, but I started the gps from the car since we had to walk to even get to the race line.  We walked 9.77 miles total. We joined Rachel's family for the race. Her mom, Elisabeth has an injured calf muscle, plus Jason has a torn meniscus.  So, Elisabeth, me, Connor and Rachel walked together. Jason walked about half the race with us.. then he stopped for a bathroom break and got held up in that line forever and afterwards he decided to run for a bit. Kaiden and Victoria ran over half the race and finished first in our group. Canaan did a walk/run at his own pace. The weather was perfect! Afterwards we met at the Mexican restaurant in ML for some lunch.

Kaiden's birthday party

 First we had Kaiden's 1st soccer game of the season. Jason is coaching, along with another dad. Kaiden scored the only goal. He did amazing! Afterwards I took Kaiden, Alex and Colton to Get Air Trampoline park and let them jump and play for 3 hours! Connor drove Jason around for 1 hour doing errands. After the trampoline park Colton was wore out. The 3 of them were suppose to come back to our house for hamburgers and ice cream cake for Kaiden's 11th birthday party, but Colton decided to go home and rest instead. So, it was just Alex and Kaiden. Alex's parents came over and visited around a camp fire too. Alex spent the night. Simple, easy birthday party... I told Kaiden he could invite anyone he wanted, but he said he only wanted his 2 best friends and just wanted to play at the trampoline park and then come back for ice cream cake. He picked the ice cream cake. I usually get Dairy Queen Blizzard cakes, but he opted for something different. We tried the Carvel's ice cream cake, which had high reviews. We all liked Dairy Queen way better. 

Easter

 Alex and Kaiden did the Easter Egg Hunt at Water Front Park.  Then Connor drove us to my parent's house in Chewelah. He drove for 1 hour straight!!  First time with passengers in the back seat.  Also, first time going through a stop light. Grandma hid eggs with coins and candy inside. The boys played with their 2 dogs and my aunt Geri's 2 dogs (she's in Hawaii so my parents are baby sitting her dogs). Jason and Kaiden wrestled, while Harry and Benji defended Kaiden. Jason chopped down my beautiful tree in the backyard. I only have 3 tree's total and he chopped one down.  But the limbs keep pushing on our shed and it's hard to mow the yard around the branches.

 We took Alex with us to Kaiden's birthday dinner.  Jason has been wanting to try this Mongolian Grill in AWH forever.

Jr. Bloomsday race

 Kaiden ran the Jr. Bloomsday race again this year.
