Green Bluff

This year we just went to the Harvest House in Green Bluff.  We had planned on stopping at Knap's to pick out pumpkins in the field, but since we didn't make it to Green Bluff until the weekend before Halloween they were closed for the season.  Harvest House always has a fun play area for the kids though.  Connor rolled around in the giant ball pit.  The idea is to bump into other players in balls and bounce around, but Connor didn't like it when people bumped his ball.  So, he tried to stay on the out skirts and avoid getting bumped around.  I didn't get my fresh made pumpkin donut this year either.  The line was enormous.

They have 2 bounce castles and there weren't very many kids inside one of them... so, Jason climbed inside to let Kaiden bounce around with Connor.  He loved it!

Connor led the way through the hay bail maze... until we reached the middle pit, then he took off with some other kids to search out the exit
Kaiden decided it was his turn to lead the way out of the maze

Connor rode the cow barrel train, which he says is too bumpy every year, but yet he rides it once every year anyway.
It was a toss up between riding the pony's or going on a hay ride, but in the end both boys chose to ride the pony's.  This was Kaiden's first time on a horse.  He loves animals.  He was a little bit nervous at first, but warmed up to the idea and ended up loving it.  Connor always loves to ride the pony's.

On 10-18-15 Kaiden took his first poop in the toilet!  He prefers to sit on the big toilet with the added kids seat on top (over the little potty on the floor).  He grabbed himself, ran to the bathroom and squatted by the toilet.  We quickly pulled his pants down, took off his diaper and sat him on his seat on the toilet and he pooped.  I'm sure we still have a long ways to go with potty training, but he has the idea down and knows when he needs to go.
On 10-22-15 Kaiden had his 18 month check up.  He's 32 inches tall (25-50%), 20 pounds 8 ounces (5%) and head is 46cm (10%).  Following in big brother's foot steps... tall and lean.
