(warning this might be gross if you don't have kids... but it's very exciting for us! We're one step closer to no more diapers!)
My little angel surprised me this morning with a #2 in his potty! Wooo hooo! I bought him a potty a while ago, but we really didn't spend any time on potty training because I thought he was too young to really get the concept. When Marcie was visiting I found out Landen was potty trained by 2 years old. Wow! So... a few days ago I actually started trying to get him more used to the potty... and it must be working!
So, of course I called daddy to tell him about our exciting news. We talked about finding something to give him as a reward system. Hmm....
I ran a bunch of errands today and stopped at the store to get him some tub toys, which I knew he would love. Tub crayons! And I also picked up some M&M's, which he's never tried before but I've heard they make a great reward for going potty.
Daddy came home with a tub toy and some M&M's too! It's almost scary how similar we think sometimes. =)
Anyway here's some fantastic tub art

One Man Cleaning Crew
My amazing One Man Cleaning Crew!
He now has a new talent to add to his resume... professional duster!
He sweeps, he dusts, he picks up toys, he's an assistant cook, he walks the dogs and he gives the most incredible bear hugs. Honestly I don't think there is a more perfect man! I'm so lucky he's all mine... well for the next 18 years anyway. =)

Spring walks
Spring is here! The weather has been so nice and warm.. well, by warm I mean 50's. So, we've been taking a lot more walks. C loves to walk Nala all by himself. Although I'm not real sure Nala is thrilled with this idea, but if it means she gets to go on a walk she'll deal with it.He's decided recently that walking 1 dog is not challenging enough for him. He thinks he needs to have 1 leash in each hand. Considering Chloe is more than double his weight... I don't think he would be walking her. So, we improvise and C gets both leashes, but dad helps a little bit.
How cute is this little hat with ear flaps!
Run! Run! Run as fast as you can.. you can't catch me, I'm Super C man!
Some days I swear this kid is training for a marathon! You look like you could use a hug mom... I'll give you one! =)

Weekend with Marcie!
y big helper cleaning the house before our guests arrive. His newest favorite hobby... sweeping! This kid is so funny it's the first thing he goes for in the mornings. Loves the broom! So I was checking Facebook on Thursday evening and my cousin Marcie IM's me and we chat. Love this woman! OMG she is sooo amazingly fun! Anyway, she asks what we have planned this weekend, which was nada. And she had a 3 day weekend with nothing planned too. So, I say why don't you come over for a visit! I haven't seen her for 2 years and they've never met C before. So, she says SURE! They load up the car early Friday and take off. I love it! Spontanious visist.
My gorgeous cousin, Marcie and her two incredibly adorable kids, Gracie and Landen.
First thing on the agenda... dance party! Shake your groove thang =)

Happy 7th Birthday Skylar! We had a blast at Sky's party.
The kids had a blast at the play center.
Sky and Brady gave C some blue bead necklaces. He was more interested in playing with his bead necklaces and dancing to the music than the play center. Silly boy!
A quick photo of Landen as he flew by. Man this boy has some energy! He goes full speed nonstop with no nap. Gracie is mellow, while Landen is energetic. Both kids have such good manners and their amazingly polite. I sure love these kids! I wish they lived closer so we could see them more often. C was Landen's little shaddow the entire time they were here. They were best buddies.
We took a stroll around Riverfront Park.
