Pre-Easter fun
Play date with the Zaborac boys! Sky showing C how to build an octopus out of lego's.
The Easter Bunny brought them REAL bunnies this year! wow!
chillen in Brady's room watching cartoons
playing with Brady's drum set. These kids really are rock stars... no kids instruments for them. Nothin' but the real deal here!
C had a good time playing and needed a little rest time when he got home.
Lunch with Ryan (and my brother too)
Pictures with the Easter Bunny. C did great! He just kicks back all relaxed and starts telling the Easter Bunny jokes... err... something cause he was sure giggling.
Me and my mom enjoying a smoothie as we shopped.
one tired little cookie. He did such a great job shopping! I can't believe he was able to squeeze in a 30+ minute nap while we shopped too.

Happy Valentines
Happy Valentines!
This weeks happenings: well, Lil' C got to play at the bounce house again. That was fun, until he drank out of a water fountain for the first time and became obsessed with the fountain. He thought the fountain was pretty amazing... instant stream of water. woo hoo!
He got bit at daycare for the first time too. No so fun. But I'm pretty impressed he didn't bite or hit or do anything back. From what I was told he just made a sour face at the kid who bit him and walked away. No tears or anything. Yeah for my big guy!
ewww the fountain!
Dad was in Montana this week. He missed his flight home too and ended up driving home.
We got a babysitter for Valentines! First babysitter (other than family). J and I went out to a nice dinner and then to the Chief's hockey game. Chiefs won! Grandma and Grandpa K spent the night so we got to visit with them too.
We had a fantastic Valentines! =)

Christmas with the Kortus's
We had a low key New Years Eve this year. Jasper helped me make 3.5 dozen mini cheese cakes and we spent the day relaxing. That evening J and I watched the movie Four Christmas's and laughed until J's sides hurt. I made New York style cheese cakes but in mini form so everyone could have their favorite topping: plain, Apple, Caramel Apple, Blueberry, Cherry, Chocolate and Cherry Chocolate. I think the chocolate was the biggest hit.
We celebrated Christmas with the Kortus's at our house. I made a turkey dinner with all the fixens, a new green bean casserole recipe (which was a big hit), stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer, some new yummy salads Nana brought and the mini cheese cakes for desert. Everything turned out really delicious!
John and Laura
Present time!
Madi opened her first present (one of the many books she got) and was all ready to settle in and start reading. We had to make her put the book down and keep opening presents.
John and Ryan. I just love his little boots! So cute.
After presents the kids (Madi, Livi, Lil' C and J) all headed down to the play room to have some fun. Lil' C, or as I've been calling him now- Jasper is setting the mood for play time with some wonderful music.
Livi thought his play room was pretty neat! She had fun testing out all his toys with him. Here they were playing in his ball pit.
Slam Dunk! Nana and Papa got him a basketball hoop for Christmas and he's already pretty good at making shots!
I'm not sure who had more fun playing with his basketball hoop... him or the other kids (J included). Madi and J played Basketball-Hockey.
Then Madi and Livi broke into ballpit war. They built forts and tried to destroy the other person's fort with the ballpit balls. This is Madi's fort built out of mega blocks and Jaspers table.
And Livi's fort made out of Jaspers tent, pillows and blankets.
The War!
The girls tackling each other after the war. The kids had a lot of fun in the playroom! They were down there playing for hours.

Christmas with the Charette's
Lil' C's favorite spot. Every morning he has to run to his window to see if we got more snow over night. The night before we left to go see the Charette's for Christmas, Santa did his yearly pre-Christmas visit to our neighborhood. Every year he rides through our neighborhood on the top of a fire truck and waves to the kiddo's. He's checking to make sure they've all been good girls and boys. Lucky for us Lil' C has been an angel all year long!
Our Christmas plate for Santa's cookies this year. =)
Watching the planes come in at the air port. Lil' C did great on his 1st ever plane ride. He got a little bit grumpy as we decended, but then he was fine.
on the plane. Wheeeeeeeee
We had a lot of fun visiting Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Sue, Aunt Frann, Aunt Stephani, Uncle Mark, cousins: Lauren, Cameron, Justin, Kevin, Brianna, and Taylor. This is Cameron with his mini me. =)
playing with some new toys!
sending text messages on Aunt Frann's phone. Apparently people owe him some money cause he sent some text messages with $ signs. LOL

more presents! Lil' C was a spoiled little boy.
stealing some love from my boy
Bring it on! I may be short, but I carry a BIG punching glove and I'm not afraid to use it!
Christmas day was at Aunt Stephani and Uncle Marks house. Of course my little guy had to give their doggy some love. He loves the animals. He had 4 doggies at Aunt Sue's house he got to love all over.
Family picture.
even Brianna's stuffed doggy got some love from Lil' C!

Aunt Stephani and Uncle Mark gave him this book with a stuffed monkey. I guess he thought the monkey was a little scary because he crammed wrapping paper in to cover the monkey. He sure loves the book though. We've already read it several times.

We spent some time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They have a cat so you know where Lil' C was the entire time.
snuggling with Grandma and Simon
We also made it up to visit one of J's good friends, Lee. His daughter Faith is 6 and such a sweet little girl.
Lee and Faith
The trip home was pretty good. There was a little girl the same age sitting behind us on the plane. They both slept the entire trip home and only woke up for the last 10 minutes... they were both grumpy for the last 10 minute while their ears popped. And then my little guy threw up. Good thing it was the end of our trip and not the beginning! We had a quick 10 minute drive home and stripped all our clothes off for bath time. We relaxed all day Monday. It was great to see family, but it's sooo nice to be home! Sleeping in our own beds and back to a normal routine.
