Games

Family game night- Dominos.  Rachel came over for dinner and games- Qwirkle and Uno.  Jason was in Reno for work.  Connor gave Rachel the Valentine gifts he got for her- box of Belgium chocolates and a silver star fish necklace (that he actually got on our vacation for her).  She was wearing the emerald necklace he gave her when we got back from our trip too.  Kaiden gave her one of his Minecraft valentine cards while we were eating dinner too.  Tonight Connor asked Rachel to be his girlfriend too and she said yes.  It's official now!  They have had a crush on each other since the 3rd grade and now they are officially dating.  Last picture is Connor and I putting together some 4D Harry Potter puzzles.  I put Harry and Hermine together and Connor did Hedwig. 

Mobius

We met Channing and Aedan at Mobius for some fun. Kaiden and Aedan had fun playing together. Channing and I got some time to chat. Jason and Connor had fun exploring together. Then we all rode the carousel. Kaiden was upset that he couldn't find the horse that he wanted to ride. We were hoping to go ice skating too, but it was raining outside. So, instead we went to Flat Stick to play some indoor games, but all the tables were reserved for birthday parties. We checked out the new Lego store. The boys had fun building characters. Then we had a late lunch- early dinner at Red Robin before heading home. Kaiden ended the day playing a solo game of Twister.

Games

 The Morris's came over for another game night. Tim, Alex, Jason and I played some new games. Kaiden, Landry, Isaiah and Tristan played video games in the basement.  The next day Kaiden's friend,  Alex spent the night. I went to the store the next morning and bought a dozen fresh donuts from the bakery. The boys loved it.  We spent the day playing games. Jason actually played the Minecraft board game for the first time with us. It's a fun game, but very long. Then Alex and Kaiden tried to help Jason and I put together a 1000 piece puzzle. It's a picture of Moraine Lake in Banff, Canada. They fizzled out after about 15 minutes of trying and decided to go play something else instead. Rachel and I met Channing after work at One Tree Cider House for some drinks and visiting.  Channing left Spokane Cardiology at the end of October. I miss her contagious laughter at work.  Connor is only about 1 inch shorter than Jason now!

New Years Eve

 Our wonderful neighbors (Alex's parents) brought us over some flowers, sparkling cider and chocolate treats for New Years Eve.  We invited Alex to spend the evening celebrating with us.  Lately Alex and Kaiden have been inseparable best buddies.  They love bonding over Minecraft and running around playing Army together.  Every weekend the boys plot out a plan for them to either spend the night at our house or Alex's house.  We are so blessed to live in such a wonderful neighborhood with kind, courteous, respectful, well-mannered, polite little boys and their amazing parents!  I made taco's for dinner because what little boy doesn't love taco's!  The kids loved the sparkling cider too.  For desert I bought all the fixings for banana splits- banana's, several types of ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauce, whip cream, sprinkles...  Alex and Kaiden played in the basement. They created a song that they played for us. Jason, Connor and I watched a movie and relaxed.  The next week, on Tuesday Kaiden went to his other best friend, Colton's birthday party at his house.
