We went to the Giles New Years Eve party. It was mostly the same group of friends that came to their Christmas party. Lots of fun- food, visiting and more games. Great time! Connor went home early, but Jason, Kaiden and I stayed until midnight. Prior to the party Jason and I played several rounds of Bey Blade games with Kaiden, Connor played some of his new PS5 games and we all went swimming at the AWH rec center. New Years Day we watched the final episode of Stranger Things.
Piper loved her new toys. Connor got Kaiden a Nerf gun and snowball maker, which Kaiden loves. Kaiden got Connor a Stranger Things sweatshirt, which Connor is obsessed with Stranger Things so he loves. They got Jason a phone case, big mouth bass beer cap opener and some puzzle games. They got me a scarf, reading light and Harry Potter Lego set. Kaiden got some Bey Blades, Karaoke machine, super soft Minecraft blanket/pillow, clothes, books, kinder eggs, etc. Connor got some PS5 games, new sound canceling headphones, books, Lego characters, kinder chocolates, etc. We spent the day relaxing, playing with our new stuff, Kaiden worked on his graham cracker house some more. We all sat in the hot tub and then we watched another Stranger Things episode (Kaiden watched a movie in our bed again. Stranger Things is a little too scary for him). Another great Christmas!
We went over to the Giles for a Christmas Eve party (no pictures). Great snacks, great company to visit with and fun games. Afterwards we came home and Jason, Connor and I watched Stranger Things new episode that was just released (Connor loves this show and has been counting down the days until it was released) and Kaiden watched a movie in our bed. Jason and Connor are almost the same height now. Connor and I also went Christmas shopping and went out to dinner at Chowderhead together. Kaiden is building a graham cracker house for fun.
We had our Spokane Cardiology Christmas breakfast party. They had food and some fun games. More of Kaiden's wrestling matches. Jason was able to go to all his matches, but I missed a few since they were always on Tuesday and Thursday, usually starting at 4:00pm before I was off work. He did great wrestling for his first year! He won a bunch of his matches and was invited to a tournament.
