The sun has finally decided to visit! And we've been having fun soaking up as many rays as we can get!
C and I went for a bike ride the other day. This is the first time I've pulled his cart with my bike. Usually J pulls it, but he's in South Dakota for the week. Since it was way easier than I expected, we'll have to go for more bike rides.
My big helper!
We walked to the grocery store. It's such a pretty, peaceful walk. Just a few blocks from our house is a paved walking/biking trail that goes through town and around the lake. The trail goes by a nature reserve (which usually has a few deer grazing), a soccer field (sometimes we're lucky enough to catch the 5 year old's playing soccer), and a park with play ground, baseball fields, swim area, horse shoe pits, volleyball nets...The walk to the grocery store and back is probably about 2 miles and doesn't take that long, but on this day it took us 2 hours! That's because C decided he wanted to walk part of it too and his little legs don't travel as fast as moms. We had a great walk in the sun though.
Do you see what we see?
There was a big orange cat sitting in the bird net in this tree! We stopped to watch this cat on our walk to the store and on our walk back home. getting some help from my big guy
Spa day! Lauren was suppose to join us for a spa treatment, but decided to sleep instead. It's tough being 21. You have to balance 12 hours of sleep with 12 hours of studying. I must be getting old because I seem to remember life being a lot harder when I was 21.
Cucumbers are for more than just eating. C enjoyed the cucumber eye treatment, but he wasn't about to put any goop on his face.
