Preschool

Connor's first day of preschool at EWU.  He was so excited.  He's been asking me for the last couple days when he was going to school.  The first thing he says when he wakes up is "I'm awake!  Can I go to school now?"  He got really excited when we drove onto campus and then once we were inside his preschool he ran to his classroom.  I talked to his teacher for a few minutes, snapped a few pictures, gave him a hug and kiss and then watched as he excitedly ran off to meet the other kids and play.  I expected the first day to be hard... but apparently it was only hard for me.  He was totally ecstatic about preschool!  New friends, new toys, new teachers.

 Connor did great and fit in perfect.  His teachers all love him and say how wonderful he listens, follows directions and plays well with others.  When I was buckling him into his car seat I noticed he looked a little sad.  When I asked why he was sad his response was "I want to play more."  He apparently thought going to preschool was just for the one day.  When I explained that he was going to come back to preschool and play tomorrow his face instantly lit up with a big smile and he said "I do!"
The next picture is from day 2.  Connor is still just as excited about preschool as the first day.  He's full of energy.  I'm exhausted!  I'm not used to my new schedule, getting up at 5:30am and lugging a huge backpack of books clear across campus.  Plus I decided to take a cycling class for the first time.  The instructor is intense! And  Jason is in South Carolina for 2 weeks straight.

Dentist

Connor had his first dental cleaning (second Dentist visit) today!  He did great!  He was the perfect patient and did everything they asked, while watching the Incredibles movie on the ceiling.

Discovery Park

Mobius with Peyton

We met Peyton and Matt at Mobius for a play date.

 After 60 minutes of non-stop playing at Mobius we took a break to walk across the street and grab some lunch at Red Robin

 Then we took a stroll through River Front park.  First stop, two rides on the carousel

 After River Front Park we went back to Mobius for a little more play time.  C and Peyton played house in the hut for quiet a while.  The happy couple was hosting a dinner party for Matt and I.  C was responsible for serving the beverages and preparing the main course, fish.  Peyton created a delicious soup with side of mixed veggies.  It was adorable to watch the two of them play house.
