John's

My dad grew some pumpkins for the kids with their names on them.  Apparently you can scratch the name on the pumpkin while it's growing and it creates a scar on the pumpkin.  Kaiden didn't get one since we hadn't completely decided on his name by the time Grandpa needed to scratch the pumpkins.

Grandpa built Madison and Alivia these high beds with a book shelf on each end.  Madison recently moved into her own apartment and decided she wanted to take her high bed with her.  Alivia decided she wanted a normal bed frame since she's too tall to really fit comfortably in the high bed.  Grandpa came over to help take the beds apart, move Madison's to her apartment and then re-assemble it.  Jason helped with the labor, along with John, Madison's boyfriend Kale and Kale's brother.

I found the tag blankets that I made when Connor was a baby.  Kaiden loves them... anything he can get into his mouth and chew on he loves.

Kindergarten

 Mrs. Haase Kindergarten 2014
Connor's first day of Kindergarten (take 2).  This year I was able to drop Kaiden off at daycare, walk Connor to his classroom on the first day of school  and then go to my Community Health clinical.  I'm so happy I didn't have to miss the first day of school this year.

I wanted to get him a new backpack.  I think it's fun to pick out a new backpack and lunch box for each school year, but Jason didn't think he needed a new one since his backpack from last year is still in good shape.

 My handsome 6 year old!

Connor still wants to be a veterinarian when he grows up!

new bath

I loved Connor's baby bath, but we gave it to Jason's nephew when they had a baby and I have yet to find a new baby tub that I like.  I bought this blue tub hoping it would work better since it has the slanted back rest, but there is a bar that is suppose to hold him in place (under his tush), but he slides and the bar ends up being against his back.

Connor wanted to help give his brother a bath... he's such a good little helper!
