morning snuggles

My boys love each other.  Kaiden is always watching Connor and smiling.  Connor is always hugging, loving and snuggling on Kaiden.  I hope they always have a close bond.

Green Beans

I love relaxing, lazy weekend mornings with my boys... just chillen in our robes

 

 fifth veggie: green beans.  I have yet to find any food this kid doesn't like.  In fact he pauses for a second when he tastes a new food, but doesn't even make a sour face.  After the initial taste it's a race to shovel the food into his mouth.  He loves solid food.

Olesya and her husband, Roman have temporary custody of their nephew Maksim.  He's such a sweet kid.

first cold

Jason was in Seattle for a training conference all week.  Which of course means Kaiden caught a cold and was sick all week.   This was Kaiden's first cold.  He did great though.  I ended up taking some time off school to stay home and snuggle with him.  Connor also started soccer this week.  We made it to his first practice on Tuesday, but decided to skip the Thursday practice since Connor was tired and Kaiden was sick.

Jason also had a 50 mile bike race today and Kaiden rolled over for the second time.

Spokane fair

relaxing in the shade with Kaiden.  We had a fun day at the fair.  We also watched the Mutton Bustin (kids riding sheep).  Jason and Connor had been planning on Connor riding a sheep this year for weeks before the fair.  He even practiced "getting his hooks in" on Jason (AKA wrapping his legs around Jason and using his heels to dig in).  Once we got to the fair and watched a few kids ride the sheep Connor changed his mind though.  He said the sheep were too fast.  After checking out the animals and booths we got some ice cream to cool down before hitting the rides.
