bike ride

We went for a short bike ride to the park to see how Kaiden did in the bike cart.  This was his first time riding in the cart.  We don't have a helmet for him yet, so he had to use one of Connor's... which made him look like a bobble head.  He wasn't real sure about the cart until we started riding and then he loved it.  This was also Kaiden's first time going down the slide.  Connor has been asking me to let him slide down with him since we took him swinging the first time.  I actually went down the slide with Kaiden first and then let him go down the second time on Connor's lap.  So far Kaiden loves his first park experience... which is just the tiny park by our house (Wilcox Park).  Kaiden is definitely Connor's brother... he loves creepy crawly spiders just as much as Connor!  He wasn't even afraid of Connor's remote control spider.  He loved it!

Kaiden's first time on the swings! Connor was such a great big brother and pushed him gently.  Kaiden loved it.  He was all smiles with great big belly laughs.   Kaiden was cracking up with laughter!

 

Chuck E Cheese

Connor got 2 days off from school for parent-teacher conferences.  So, I told him we could do anything he wanted.  He chose a trip to Chuck E Cheese.  This was Kaiden's first time there.  Jason met us there on his lunch break for some fun.

 

 

Sky High

To celebrate the end of their basketball season the Ninja Turtles went to Sky High to have some fun and get their trophies.  Connor's favorite part was this mat on the floor with interactive games.  Connor and Blake (black shirt) played on this forever and kept coming back to it.   Jumping on the trampoline trying to slam dunk a basketball with Kaden from his team (also in his class). Playing in the fun center with Gwen from his team (also in his class).

 

new games

Connor and Kaiden love to play chase. Connor just taught him how to play hide and seek too.  Kaiden laughs and laughs when he finds Connor.  He remembers his hiding spots too.  Kaiden will get his fun little "I want to play" look in his eyes and take off to hide in one of the hiding spots he's seen Connor hide in.   The boys playing in Kaiden's toy box.  Kaiden loves to chuck the toys over his shoulder and empty the box.   I love this smiley little guy.
