Arches National Park

This road trip wasn't as much fun as our trip last year since everything is either shut down or limited due to Covid19.  So, I wasn't able to plan stops every 3-4 hours of driving and instead we drove for 6-8 hours everyday.  We did spend half a day exploring the Arches National Park in Utah outside Moab though. There are more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches.  It was really windy and warm when we visited.

Road trip 2020

Our original vacation for this summer was to take the RV on a 3 week trip down the Oregon coast and meet our Charette family for a reunion.  We had planned on picking Jason's sister, Frann up to take with us and then she was going to go home with Sue to live in Arizona. That was canceled due to Covid19.  So, instead we picked Frann up in the tri cities and drove our RV to Arizona.  We left our house at 1:00pm Friday and arrived in Arizona around 3:00pm Monday.  We boondocked the first night, stayed at the Moab KOA the second night and then boondocked the third night.

 Swimming at the KOA pool.

new boat

Jason sold our old boat and has been searching for a new boat every since.  He's actually been driving us all nuts looking for a boat.  But the search is over... meet our new 2015 Yamaha Jet boat.  We love it.  Although Jason bought it in Idaho and stopped at 2 stores to get a fishing license on the way home and either the back seat cushion flew out or someone stole it while he was shopping... So, our new boat that he just bought is now missing a seat cushion.  We're not off to a great start.  Luckily since the boat is only 5 years old we were able to order a new cushion.

new craft

I bought a Cricut Maker... first project a shirt for Kaiden.  I found out afterwards that I bought the wrong vinyl and need to iron differently.  Fail.

My work space in the basement
Second project- I built this wood stand and used my cricut maker to make a stencil for my Welcome sign.  Yeah!  First success.  Now I just need to buy a hanging plant for below the sign.

My tough guy Kaiden

Connor's favorite place- his Lego table.

 Nerf Wars

Jason's beard is long enough for a pony tail now.  LOL
This strange new "normal" wearing masks any time we are out in public.  Our state, along with most of the world is still shut down.  We spend our time at home and avoid going anywhere.  We wear masks any time we do go somewhere and usually it's just me and/or Jason.  Our dentist just opened and started taking patients again, so the boys finally got to leave the house for a cleaning.
