swimming, Connor and Laura played the Rush Hour game, Jason took a nap, Kaiden and Sue made brownies, we played the Pie Face game (Kaiden has been asking to play this game all week) and the girls (Sue, Frann and Lauren) did Karaoke.

4th of July

My niece, Lauren flew over for the 4th of July.  Kayla and Albert also came over (they live in Arizona).  Lauren put Kaiden's hair in a man-bun.  We played in the pool, Connor and Jon played darts, we all played the Left Center Right game and that evening we went over to a neighbors 2 houses down to watch a firework show.

Lake Pleasant

We explored the Lake Pleasant marina, enjoyed some ice cream and then went back for more swimming.

We played a game of Headbands, went swimming all day, enjoyed some fresh grapefruit from their tree and ended the day with an evening bike ride with Jon.  Which was fun until Connor got a flat tire.

We hung out at Sue and Jon's house Monday-Monday. Most of that time was spent playing in their pool. Kaiden wore his life vest and with very little encouragement learned how to jump off the diving board into the deep end. He also worked on his swimming and went down the slide. Connor swam all over the pool with no life vest, jumped off the diving board and loved snorkeling.  Piper was in heaven.  She spent the day hunting for lizards, chasing birds and then taking a relaxing dip in the pool to swim a few laps to cool down inbetween. She was in and out of the pool all day long. Glendale was around 95-110 degrees all week, but with the pool and shade it was tolerable.

 The fan in Sue and Jon's livingroom needed to be tightened, but Jon doesn't have a tall enough ladder for it... so this was his idea on how to reach it.  Jon was the only person who thought this was a good idea though, so it didn't happen.
