Easter

 Sue made a treasure hunt for the boys with clues which led to Easter baskets that Sue and Fran put together for the boys.  Included in the basket they each got another Lego set, which they immediately went to work on. Then they made a dirt cake with Fran, which was sooo tasty! They had an Easter egg hunt outside.  That evening we went to Jon and Paula's house for a BBQ.  Jon is my sister-in-law, Stephani's dad.  Stephani and my niece, Breanna were down visiting too.  Kaiden swam in their pool, Paula hid eggs for the boys, she also hid eggs in the front yard for her annual adult Easter egg hunt and we played card games, which Kaiden learned the night before at Sue's house and taught everyone.

Arizona

 The boys sleeping.  Tina spent all day Saturday showing Jason and I around, viewing houses, talking to builders.  Tina and I met in the 6th grade.  She moved to Arizona after we graduated and just recently got her Real Estate license.  After a full day of driving around we came back to Sue's house to play cards and enjoy dinner outside.  The boys stayed at Sue's house the entire week while we ran around.  We bought them each a Lego set for Easter, so between building Lego's, swimming and Connor writing his book they kept busy and had fun.

Birthday's

 Fran's birthday is 2 days before Kaiden's.  Jason and I decided to take everyone out for dinner at the Cheese Cake Factory to celebrate.  The food was soooo good!  And we had so much fun eating outside in the warm weather.  The staff sang Happy Birthday to Fran and Kaiden and gave them a treat.

Arizona

 For spring break we went down to Arizona to visit Jason's sisters Sue and Frann... and to check out the area.  We're thinking of moving to the Phoenix metro, but we needed to narrow down which area.  Kaiden and I sat together on the plane to and from Arizona, while Jason and Connor sat together both directions. Sue, Frann and John recently moved into a much smaller house.  The boys slept on the couches... Kaiden also slept with John and Sue a few times too. Frann let Jason and I have her room and she slept on the couch in the office.  The weather was in the high 80's and 90's the entire time, but the water is still freezing cold.  Kaiden didn't care and jumped in anyway.  He swam every day.  Connor swam once.  The rest of us just dipped our toes in the water.

Sue and John found a baby tortoise in their pool at the other house they were renting.  Her name is Glenda.  Their dog, Brody loved the boys.  Connor spent most of his time either playing with Lego's or writing his book.  For school he had to read A Wrinkle in Time and write his own ending to the story. I've been encouraging him to write his own book for a while now.  He's so creative and very detailed.  He finally decided to give it a go while we were at Sue's house and OMG he's an amazing writer!

Grandma and Grandpa's

 My parents came back from Arizona to Washington, so we went up to visit.  They couldn't believe how much Connor has grown over the last 6 months.  He's the same height as grandma now.

Kaiden 1st grade

March 15th was Kaiden's first day for in-person school.  He's been doing Connect Plus on-line schooling.  His 1st grade teacher is Mrs. Cote.  Connor had her for 1st grade as well.  Kaiden's going to in-person school 5 days per week.  Connor goes to in-person school 2 days per week and then he's on-line 3 days.

Nerf wars

 Its been a while since we've had a family Nerf War, so Kaiden asked if we could have a war today.  Kaiden and Jason upstairs vs Connor and I at the bottom of the stairs.  Half way through our battle Kaiden decided to desert Jason and join Connor and I.  Now that the weather is starting to warm up a little bit we have been able to take Piper for more walks and Kaiden either rides his bicycle or 4-wheeler.  My latest projects- I made the boys each a splatter painting with a raptor dinosaur.  I also made a Star Wars Mandalorian sign for them since we're all really into the Mandalorian right now.  Updated picture of Connor's pet toad, Jabba.
