Winter fun

 Kaiden and I met Channing and Aedan downtown for some winter fun. First stop- Santa Express. The boys picked out Christmas gifts for everyone on their list. Then we put the packages in our cars and met up at the Red shoe. From there we got hot cocoa's and went on the Gondola ride over the Spokane falls, took a carriage ride through Spokane, went to Boo Radley's to explore, fed the garbage goat at Riverfront park, ran with the Bloomsday runner statues, visited Santa (Kaiden asked for the little plastic Army men) and checked out a few shops.

Thanksgiving

 It was just the 4 of us for Thanksgiving this year. I bought a Costco rotisserie chicken, made stuffing, potatoes, cheese biscuits, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, cranberries and 2 cheese cakes. We spent the day relaxing and playing board games.  The next day we put up the Christmas tree and decorations.  And of course had the Morris's over for game night.

Game night

 Saturdays have become game night at our house. The Morris's come over. The younger kids all play in the basement. Usually Connor and Raheem will play a few games with us- Alex, Tim, me and Jason. I usually make either a full dinner for everyone or snacks or Tim and Alex bring food. This Saturday we invited Paul, Stephani and Lana to join us too. They brought egg rolls. We made an Italian sausage coil from Sonnenburgs (sooo good! My stomach usually can't handle sausage, but for some reason their coil is different. I'm not sure if it's less fat content because it doesn't seem greasy like sausage usually is or the fact that it's fresh with less (if any) preservatives or the fact that they use amazing herbs to flavor it). Everyone loves the coil. We also made our artichoke dip which everyone loves and I made fresh chocolate chip cookies and lemon pie. Tim and Alex brought over caesar salad and baked mac-n-cheese. After dinner and some visiting we played games. Lana has never been to our house before so Stephani spent the entire time chasing her around. She did enjoy playing with our Paw Patrol toys though. Tim, Alex, Jason, Paul and myself played several rounds of Throw Throw Burrito. So much fun!  Paul and Stephani had to leave early since Lana was getting tired. Then it was Alex and myself against Tim and Jason in Poetry for Neanderthals. Alex and I were on a roll and we won! Also pictured: the boys drawing master pieces after school, our family game night trying out another new game- Ticket to Ride (very fun game!) and we changed Drako's flooring over to sand.

fun

 I bought the same face coasters that Rachel had at her party. So much fun. This is how Kaiden greets me after work now. Such a funny kid. We watch the Morris boys sometimes after school. Kaiden has choreographed a dance that they do now. LOL

Eily birthday party

 Kaiden and I went to Eily's birthday party. They own a big farm and had the party in their barn. Half had a bounce house, snacks/cake and bails around a heater. The other half had bails of hay the kids could climb on, a big swing and 3 new kittens. Kaiden's friend, Hunter was there so they played the entire time. They also made smores outside.
