Kaiden wanted to have a birthday party at our house with a sleep over afterwards and he just wanted to invite his best friends, which also happen to be the neighborhood kids: Landry, Isaiah, Colton, Dawson, Alex and Aedan. We started with an Army Man hunt (I hid Army Men all over the backyard and they had to find them similar to an Easter egg hunt). Connor and Raheem took the 4-wheelers to the track to escape the littler kids. Next up was a Nerf Gun target practice. The boys had to try to shoot Nerf bullets through a target hole in boxes- winners got to choose a piece of candy. Then we had a pizza break followed by Pin the Tail on the Dinosaur. Then a Treasure Hunt with clues that lead them to a treasure box with candy and chocolate gold coins. Then the boys all rode bikes, scooters and ran around the front sidewalk for a while. The boys played chase with Piper, which she loved. Cake- Kaiden didn't want me to get him a decorated cake. He asked for a chocolate cake with plane frosting so that he could decorate it himself with Army Men. After cake he opened presents and the boys all played in the basement (game room). Then to settle down they watched the Puss and Boots movie on the projection screen down stairs. Once it was dark we went outside to play with light up sling shots and then it was time for bed. The boys all slept in the basement... after they talked for over an hour. Dawson wasn't ready to spent the night anywhere yet, so he went home after the bike riding. His brother, Colton made it until 11:00 (about when the kid were finally falling asleep) before he decided he wanted to go home. Isaiah fell asleep during the movie. The next morning I made breakfast- sausage, bacon, chocolate chip pancakes. Then they went outside to play with Nerf Guns again.
