Greg and Johanna came over for dinner and painting. Greg and Jason visited while the rest of us painted. Connor wasn't feeling great so he ended up not painting and went to bed early instead. He woke up feeling great, so I guess his body just needed some rest. Kaiden had fun painting his master piece though. Jo and I painted lilacs. MY painting is on the left, Jo's is on the right. I love that my boys love to do arts and crafts with me!

Anual Easter Egg Hunt
We went to the Medical Lake Easter Egg Hunt again this year. Connor and Kaiden are in different sections, so we had a spot to meet Connor after the egg hunt. Kaiden found 5 eggs. Connor found 22 painted eggs, 4 plastic eggs with coupons inside and 1 golf foil egg. They announced at the beginning of the race that if you found 2 golden eggs you had to give one away. At the end of the race you turn in the golden eggs for prizes. Connor found 2- one real egg with a gold foil around it and 1 gold plastic egg. He gave the gold foil egg away to Bella, a friend in his class that was there. At the end of the race when we took his gold plastic egg up to claim his prize we discovered that the prizes only go to the gold foil eggs. It would have been nice if they would have clarified that before the race started... or not hid any gold plastic eggs. So, Connor did not get a prize, but we were so impressed with his positive attitude and the fact that he didn't get mad or have a fit. He just said "that's a bummer. I did exactly what they said to do. I found 2 golden eggs and I gave one away." To show him how proud we were of his positive attitude... later that day we went to Walmart and let him pick out any toy he wanted, which is WAY better than the prize he would have got from the egg hunt anyway. He of course chose a Lego set. Kaiden got to pick a toy too. He chose a Match Box car.
Kaiden's newest thing is to make this goofy face when I ask him to smile. What a silly kid. He's also started making this really cool throaty dinosaur roar.
Afterwards we came home and hid some eggs in our backyard. Then they went over to Collin and Natalie's house to find eggs.

Seattle Science Center
Saturday morning we headed to the Seattle Science Center for the day before heading home. Jason had to be home on Sunday for the Negative Split race.
We loved the butterfly exhibit (above). Connor and Jason trying out the tornado tunnel below.
Probably their favorite spot was the building/creating center below. We spent a lot of time in this area. Even Jason played around. Connor made a new friend and they worked as a team to build a marble run.
