Summer wrap up...

 Pool party with Colton, Kaiden, Alex and Dillon.  Dinner with Kevin Miller.  Long walks with Krista, Connor and Piper.  Pickleball match with Jason and Kaiden vs Krista and Connor.  Family game night.  Kaiden's middle school orientation.  Kaiden's new obsession- cooking eggs for everyone for breakfast.  Connor's EWU orientation.  Lots of drive practice for Connor (which lately has meant Connor drives into Spokane on the freeway, navigates roads in Spokane city and we usually end up at one of the Lego stores).  I don't mind though.  I've done 98% of all the driving practice with Connor and it's been really nice just hanging out and getting some private time to chat.  Finally both boys had their yearly physicals at the pediatricians office before school started.

Silverwood

 We took Alex with us to Silverwood this year.  Kaiden and Alex loved the rides.  Kaiden even talked Alex into going on the Tremors roller coaster with him.  Kaiden loved it, Alex not so much.  We enjoyed the water park- lazy river, wave pool.  The lines for the water slides were crazy long though.  We did the train ride and magic show.  Afterwards we stopped at Texas Road House for dinner.  Everyone got steak and shrimp except Alex, he wanted chicken.  Since we never did a family dinner for Connor's birthday we told them it was his birthday and they had him sit on a saddle and swing a cloth napkin while they sang to him.  He also got some ice cream.  I think he liked it, even though he's very shy.  Connor, Jason and I are not really into rides so we didn't go on many.

Cheney Aquatic Center

 Connor's friend, Gerald and Kaiden's friend, Alex spent the weekend with us. We rode 4 wheelers, roaster marsh mellows over the fire pit and went to the new Cheney aquatic center.
