Fireworks are normally legal in Medical Lake, but because it's so dry they decided to ban them this year... but they waited until July 2nd to ban them for July 4th. So, there were a ton of fireworks being let off around Medical Lake. We went to the Giles for a get together and that night watched fireworks from our patio. Kaiden and Alex made a fort in the basement and used glow sticks for fun.
I took Connor, Mason, Kaiden and Alex to the Garland Theater to see Shrek 2. They ran into their high school teacher there too. Then the Lego store, Boo Radley's, Mason got wet in the fountain, we stopped at Dick's burgers for lunch and then home. Kaiden, Alex and I rode our bikes to the new ice cream shop in town- Rocket Ice Cream.
I took Kaiden to the skate board park to play. Channing and Aedan moved. Kaiden started his Invisalign at Dr. Scotts.
Connor, Kaiden and Jason did the Medical Lake Founders Day Trailblazer Triathlon relay. Connor swam 350 meters, Jason biked 12.2 miles and then Kaiden ran 2.92 miles. Kaiden also entered a wrestling contest that morning right before the race. Connor started his first real job! He's been working for our HOA since about 8th grade snow blowing the common sidewalks when it snows. But this summer he's working for Jason's employer Amphenol in the warehouse Tuesday-Thursday 8 hour days.
