Flying Irish
Every Thursday Jason meets his Flying Irish running club for a 3-4 mile run, followed by a few hours of drinking beer and socializing with friends. Occasionally Connor and I meet him for the run. On your 6th run you have to get up on stage and tell an Irish joke to earn your Flying Irish shirt. Jason has about 28 runs documented. Tonight was my 6th run. Which means it was also Connor's 6th run too. The Trantum's recently starting joining the run, so they were there to witness my on stage joke after the run.My joke: Two Irish men go to a bar and get drunk. The first Irish guy says "I noticed your glass is empty. Would you like another one?" The second Irish guy says "Why would I want another empty glass?"
As soon as I got on stage and took the microphone Connor started crying. So, Jason wasn't able to get any pictures. We didn't realize until after I told my joke and got off stage that Connor was upset because he wanted to get on stage and tell a joke with me. It was his 6th run too. Most people have a fear of public speaking, but I guess Connor doesn't. Our plan is for Connor to tell his joke on the same night as Jason earns his 33 run shirt.

me and Connor with our new Flying Irish shirts. The 6 run shirt is a long sleeve navy blue, but since they didn't have one small enough for Connor... he got a green t-shirt instead.
