We woke up, had breakfast downstairs at the hotel- typically the boys either had waffles or cereal, with a yogurt, muffins, or fruit and orange juice. Then we went for a swim at the hotel while we waited to switch rooms. We had a room with 2 queens (room 308) and switched to a room with a king and hidda bed (room 333). Connor and Kaiden share one bed and Jason and I get the other. The queen sits too high off the ground and we were scared of him rolling off the bed. The hidda bed was perfect- still gave them plenty of room but it's lower to the ground and had the side arms of the couch for added protection against rolling off. We never had any problems with either of them rolling off. Plus Jason and I are used to sleeping in a king and having our own space to sprawl out. After the room switch, then it was off to check out the beaches. The beach had soft sand and near the water the beach was covered in little clams. The boys collected shells and played in the sand. We actually checked out 2 beaches, but I combined the pictures.
My sweet Connor and the many faces (and attidudes) of my adorable Kaiden
After hours and hours at the beach we walked into town to get some ice cream to cool off. Then we went to check out a "pirate park." Kaiden is so daring... this kid has no fear and slides down the slide on his belly.. backwards sometimes too. We went to a restaurant Grill that had high rating for dinner, but we weren't all that impressed. Then back to the hotel to swim some more and hot tub, which is where Kaiden and I spent most of our time. Connor learned how to do front and back flips in the pool, and cannon balls. Then it was TV time with popcorn in our room.
