My friend, Tina gave me her old hands-free belt for walking Piper. I had to give Connor an otter pop to talk him into the walk.. it's hot! Kaiden rode his bike on the walk. Today we also went to the boys pediatrician appointment for their yearly exams. They both did great, until the nurse mentioned poking their finger to test their blood for iron. Connor instantly retreated into the corner and at one point even cried (before she brought out the itty bitty needle to poke him). He is so freaked out of blood. Kaiden on the other hand didn't bat an eye and stuck his hand out willingly. He even watched the nurse poke his finger, take the blood sample and didn't even flinch or say a word. Kaiden is fascinated with anything medical related... my stethoscope, blood, cuts, etc. Nothing fazes him. Connor about passes out at the mention of blood. Afterwords we went to a few stores (shopping for more dog supplies) and then to Costco. The boys tried the vanilla frozen yogurt, which was amazing!
