Tree to Tree Adventures

My friend, Johanna Wallweber invited me to join her on a tree to tree adventure park day.   It's a multiple aerial obstacle course with 4 levels: green, blue, red and black in Athol, Idaho.  Our guide was Shane and he said the highest obstacle was just under 60 feet off the ground and the longest zip line was the length of a football field (although the website says it's a 1200 foot zip line).  I have a fear of heights and some things will actually cause my legs to go completely numb from about the knees down, my stomach will do flip flops and I'll get light headed and nauseous.  It's quiet ridiculous, but I can't seem to overcome it.  I notice it happens more when my kids are near the edge of a cliff or something high off the ground that they could fall off.  Anyway, I've been wanting to try zip lines and see how I do.  I love to push my own boundaries.  I'm amazed, but this obstacle course didn't bother me at all.  I never had any uneasy feelings.  Probably because I had a harness on the entire time (rules) and I knew if I did fall that the harness would catch me.  I had so much fun!  I loved it.  And the zip lines were so fun!  Johanna on the other hand was a bit nervous, but she said she liked it too.  It took us 3 hours to complete (we were in a group of 6 with a mother and her 3 older / adult children).  Our guide Shane was hilarious and very patient.
