The boys had a 4 day weekend for conferences. We did both conferences on Thursday and then went to Silver Mountain Friday. We took Connor's best friend, Mason with us. We all rode up the gondola together and then Jason spent the day skiing with his friend, Paul while the boys and I spent 2 hours tubing. But first we grabbed some hot cocoa and snacks in the lodge. We met a guy that was skiing in a Big Foot costume. The boys thought he was hilarious. This was our first time tubing at Silver Mountain and it was so much fun! There are 4 tubing lanes, 2 sizes of single tubes and a double tube. You can race individual tubes down the hill or your can link as many as you want together and all go down together. Then there is a magic carpet conveyor belt that sits between the tube hill and bunny hill that you ride back up to the top of the hill. The magic carpet is covered and warm inside, so after our first run down the hill we all started stripping off layers of clothing. It was way warmer than I expected it to be. We all had a total blast.
