Happy Birthday C!

Happy 2nd Birthday Li'l C!
all his little buddies
Skylar, Brayden, Li'l C, Severin, Maximus (and Fallyn trying to be a kid too)
the kiddie table

Nana and Papa got him a tricycle for his birthday. So, I thought the Car's theme would be fitting. Besides the fact that everything he owns right now is Car's... tooth brush, potty seat, stool, PJ's, etc.
blowing out his #2 candle
BBQ, cake, ice cream... then it was time to bring on the water toys!
I got little squirt guns for all the kids and they had fun getting wet

Mom, Dad and the best little boy in the entire world!

Batter up!

We got C a T-ball set with a stand, bat and glove. J and I both said from the start that we would never push any sport or activity on C. We want whatever he does to be his choice. After all isn't the point of sports to have fun? When he showed interest in golf we bought him a mini plastic golf set, which he loves! He plays golf all the time now. In fact he now owns an indoor golf set and an outdoor golf set. Plus dad gave him some of his old clubs too.

So, when C started showing interest in baseball we had to get him supplies. I find it strange how J and I don't watch baseball on TV or really have anything around that has to do with baseball and yet C has a huge interest in baseball?!? Most kids watch cartoons and my kid requests baseball. He even tells the players on TV to "hit the ball" "run" "swing"

If he keeps up this interest in golf and baseball I think he'll have a scholarship in his future! He's already pretty good at both.
The only dry kid at the splash pad... yep that would be my C. The water is freezing cold though so C keeps his distance.
Practicing baseball with mom and dad.
Catch with dad. The Trantum's gave C a mini baseball glove. OMG it's so cute! C loves it. I think he would sleep with it on if we would let him.
Happy 2nd Birthday Li'l C! We have had the best two years with you around and can't wait to have even more fun with you in the future. We love you more than words can say.

Sun and Smiles

The view from here...
We took a 1 hour walk on the centennial trail today. What a gorgeous day for stroll.
On the way back about 5 minutes from the car we were chatting about the birds and then all of a sudden it was quiet and this is what I found... zzzzz
of course our trip wouldn't be complete without a stop at the park
With all his gear on! Lets Ride!
Thanks for the bug shirt Aunt Sue =)
