Seaside beach

We took the boys and Piper to Seaside beach for a day of fun.  But first Jason had to beat Sue's kids car game (similar to tetris).  And Piper had to chew on all of us.

 Seaside aquarium.  Seaside is amazingly very dog friendly.  You can't walk more than a few shops without finding a bowl of water sitting outside a shop with a sign for dogs to get a drink.  The aquarium even said Piper was welcome to come inside.  Of course she instantly fell asleep in Jason's arms.  All that walking on the beach wore the little puppy out.  I bought the boys some fish to feed to the sea lions. 

 

 

 Afterwords we went out to lunch.  Then we went to a toy store and the boys picked out souvenirs- Connor a stuffed animal and Kaiden a scuba diver.  Then back to aunt Sue's to give the boys and Piper a bath.  This was the first bath that we've given Piper.  Kaiden didn't want to be in the tub with Piper, but Connor did, so once the boys were clean and Kaiden was out we added Piper.

Longview fair

We took the kids to the Longview fair to walk around.  The boys decorated some Frisbees.  Kaiden played on the bounce house.  Then we went back to aunt Sue's house to relax.  Jason and I bought some groceries for aunt Sue's and we got the boys a Dragon fruit to taste.  John is going back to school and had to take some on-line math tests.

We took Piper to grandma's house to show her our new dog.  Grandma Charette will be 90 this year!

 We took the boys to a Children's Museum with aunt Frann. Kaiden loved playing doctor.  He's my kid that likes to check out your "owie" and isn't grossed out by blood.  While his big brother, Connor is gagging over the smallest little scratch if there is any sign of blood.

 Jason was board to death.  I ran around with Kaiden the whole time checking out each section.

 Afterwords we took Grandma out to lunch... her choice.  She chose Sizzler, one of her favorite places to eat.  The headphones she's wearing are hooked to her new hearing aid device.  It actually works better than her old hearing aids.  Grandma gave Kaiden a watch, which he just thought was the coolest thing ever.  Plus she let him play with her cell phone.
