Fun day with my best little buddy. He was bummed that Connor got to go to camp Reed with his school, so he wanted to do his own "camp reed" with me. Picnic lunch from McDonalds at Discovery Park! Few hours there and he crashed out on the ride home. But as soon as we got home he was ready for a bike ride. He even did some trick riding. Then as a treat he slept in bed with me and Jason. He had a great day and loved his "camp reed."
I took the boys to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Jason ran Blooms day and then relaxed at home. Grandma walked with us over to the park behind their house for the boys and Piper to run around. Then we all relaxed and enjoyed their back yard.
Rachael was Connor's girl friend last year (his very first girl friend). They were in the same class last year and played together at recess every day. Her mom and I have kept in contact. This year they are in different classes. To make things more complicated there is a split class with 1/2 4th graders and 1/2 5th graders. They had to combine both grades to make an extra class because there were too many 4th and 5th graders. Unfortunately Rachael is in that class, which means she's still learning the exact same 4th grade material, but she has lunch, recess, music and PE with the 5th graders. So, Connor and Rachael have not been able to see each other at school this year except in the passing. I think Rachael is missing Connor because she's asked her mom for a play date with Connor a few times. Connor says he still likes Rachael as a good friend, but his current girl friend is Ally B (Allison) that's in his current class and rides the same bus as Connor.
We met Rachael and her sisters at Wilcox park by our house for a play date.
When I woke up this morning I found Kaiden curled up in Piper's kennel with her. Silly kid. Apparently he woke up before I did and decided to snooze with Piper. Connor won another BUG (Bringing Up Grades) award at school. Kaiden and I went to watch the award ceremony.
