Concert

Kaiden had his 3rd grade musical program. Jason was still in New Jersey so Connor had to face time with him so he could see it too. The theme was "Feeling Good" and all the songs were about health and taking care of your body.

Swimming

Lunch with Channing. Swimming- Connor is taking the Jr. Life Guard swim course again. They didn't have lessons for Kaiden on Saturday while Connor was doing his lesson, so Jason is working with him instead. Kaiden usually spends 30 minutes working with me and Jason in the lap pool and then about 1 1/2 hours over in the warmer pool playing. Him and I swim around and play in the lazy river. Games- the Morris's came over for game night again. We started with Catch Phrase, but then got Tim hooked on Taco vs Burrito.  Monday Jason left for New Jersey again, so the boys and I played Plunder. Then Connor and I played the new Exploding Kittens game with multiple extension packs.

Flat Stick Pub

After skating and the park we walked over to the Flat Stick Pub to play. We ordered 2 large pizza's, some drinks and had an absolute blast playing games. Giant Jenga. Pockets- mini golf and pool collaboration. Wickets- navigate a golf ball through gates. Then we came home to cap off the day with watching the Wizard of Oz movie. The boys had never seen this movie before.

Ice Skating

I made some scratch cinnamon rolls, roasted chicken with veggies and lemon hard candy from our Harry Potter cook book. The boys love making new recipes out of that book with me... well, mostly they like EATING the recipes I make out of that book. We're pretty impressed though, most of the recipes are pretty darn good and things we haven't had before. We all went ice skating at the Ribbon. This year they have really cool 'walkers' for the little kids to use. It really helps them to balance and glide across the ice. Kaiden used a blue one and could zip all over the place fast without falling. Connor used it a few times with Kaiden, but he was too embarrassed to get one for himself. Although I even saw a few adults try it out. We ran into Kaiden's friend from school, Hunter there too. After skating we walked around River Front Park and Kaiden played at both the play grounds. Connor and I even went down all the big slides (which we had never done before). Jason went down one slide. Both Jason and Connor complained about getting beat up in the twisty slide. I thought they were fun.
