Every year Connor gets to pick a Halloween theme and our entire family dresses up as that theme. This year he said he wanted to be Lego pieces... which of course you can't buy anywhere so I had to get creative and create some. Connor picked our colors: Connor- his favorite color orange. Kaiden light blue. Jason green. Krista yellow. I even made Kaiden a Lego trick-or-treat bag. Connor said he wanted to use his new skeleton bag from Aunt Sue instead of a Lego bag. Kaiden was not excited to put his costume on. I wasn't sure if he was going to dress up at all this year, but somehow dad managed to convince him to put it on and once we started trick-or-treating he was back to being his happy little self. Unfortunately it was rainy and windy so we just did a quick little walk from our house to Connor's buddy, TeJon's house and then came back home. TeJon and his mom came over. The boys had fun playing with the scare crow and handing out candy.

Pumpkin Carving
Connor chose an Angry Bird to carve, Jason carved a minion, I made my own silly face and Kaiden started off using the plastic piece to make silly faces, but then decided to color his pumpkin with markers instead.

Karate
Connor took Karate for a few weeks. He loved it, but they are located in Spokane Valley and it's twice a week... which means on the days I work Jason had to drive from the Valley home to get the boys then back to the valley and then home again.
This was a busy week for Connor: Tuesday was Karate, Wednesday Connor got his I "can" award at school, had his after school reading program, and then had Cub Scouts that night. Thursday was Disney on Ice. Friday Jason took the boys to the Girl Scout Pumpkin Bingo with games.
Disney on Ice
The boys loved the Disney on Ice show. They started off with Toy Story and Kaiden loved it. He was glued to the ice. He also really liked the Car's too. During intermission Connor and I went for a walk and he picked out a light up fun cup filled with shaved ice to share with Kaiden. Jason also bought them a bag of popcorn to enjoy with the show. We had a fun family night out. Jason recently went back to his prior job at Telect, which means we get to use the company suite at the Arena for free. Love it!!
