We took the entire family to go see Despicable Me 3 in the theater. Usually it's just me and the boys that go to the movies, but Jason actually wanted to see this movie too.

Monster Trucks
We went to the Monster Jam at the Arena. Kaiden was so excited to see the Monster Trucks. Every morning for 2 weeks the first thing Kaiden would ask each morning is "Do we get to see the Monster Trucks today?" It was a long 2 weeks, but he was so excited when the day finally came to see them. The trucks were loud though. Connor's favorite was the Alien (gray/green with lights), Kaiden's was the shark, and we all liked the Earth Shaker (yellow that kinda looks like a "Chuck Truck"). The Earth Shaker that we all liked won. He did some amazing tricks! He did a "head stand" on the front wheels without tipping over and also on the back wheels, huge jumps, spun around super fast, etc. We ran into our friends Wei Wei, Travis, Max and Maddux too, who joined us in the suite. We had a donut treat for intermission. We all had fun. Great show!

mustaches
mustache boys
We bought our sleep number bed 1-15-18. This was also the first time Jason let me drive his new 2018 Tacoma truck that he bought in September. He's very possessive of his new truck and refuses to let me drive it. Connor also went to TeJon's laser quest birthday party.

ski and hockey
Jason, Connor and I went skiing at 49 degrees North for the day, while Kaiden played at Grandma's house. Jason always complains about me being a slow driver, so he drove on the way down from the ski hill. There was a car in front of us and I could tell Jason was getting impatient.. and knowing him pretty well I knew he was going to try to pass the car. I sternly said "do not pass that car" to which he ignored me and sped up to pass. But just as he was speeding around the car he lost control on the snow/ice and my 4-runner spun around in circles and slammed into the snow bank/ditch. Connor was freaking out in the back seat. I was calm, but irritated. Jason tried to laugh it off, but I could tell he was regretting his choice. Luckily we had several trucks stop and try to help us get out. It took 30 minutes for them to finally pull our truck out of the ditch though. After that we picked Kaiden up from Grandma's house and I drove the rest of the way home without a peep about me driving too slow. We grabbed some dinner on the north side of Spokane and then went directly to the hockey game.
